Mandarin Oriental Milano a success story
The prestigious Hong Kong company elected Milan a few years ago to inaugurate its first 5-star hotel in Italy, in the center of the fashion district, not far from the artistic atmosphere of Brera and the fashionable Via della Spiga, from the symbolic places of the city, such as the Scala, the Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, easily reachable on foot. Oriental elegance and exoticism are perfectly combined with the city that expresses the trends in fashion and design. The hotel occupies four 18th century buildings hidden in the ancient heart of Milan. The renovation and reorganization of the spaces are the work of a renowned architectural firm, offering guests the possibility to choose one of the 70 rooms and 34 suites located on five floors. Whatever the choice, each room of the hotel has been designed to enhance an experience of comfort and luxury. The furnishings were custom-made and, in particular, there are two special suites inspired by two representative artists of Italian 20th century contemporary art such as Piero Fornasetti and Giò Ponti.
